Beyond animal care, veterinary and technical services, DLAR is developing a new and growing service to advance investigators’ therapeutic drug development in rodents.
We aim to provide laboratories with tailored assistance to design, plan, and execute efficacy and/or pharmacokinetic studies from start to finish. We have extensive experience with experimental planning and protocol development, drug formulation, model development, efficacy monitoring, blood/urine/tissue collection, data collection and analysis. Our initial offerings will include patient-derived xenograft tumor model establishment and maintenance, immortalized cell tumor models, surgical models, biobanking, imaging, and pharmacokinetic studies.
We are committed to partnering with investigators, but are also happy to take your ideas and turn them into data! While we are currently growing this new service, we are also excited to expand services in the future to suit investigators’ needs within the SBU community.
