Breeding Colony Management

Breeding colony management is available through the DLAR husbandry section. These services are not covered by the standard per diem and are recharged to the principle investigator. Services include: mating of animals, pregnancy checks, weaning of animals, record keeping, investigator contact and additional cage preparation and changing. Services are provided by a Rodent Breeding Colony Coordinator. The current recharge rate during normal working hours is $50.00/hr. The recharge rate after normal working hours, is $75.00/hour.
