Training Opportunities for Research Personnel
DLAR offers monthly training hands-on workshops for research personnel which focus on basic experimental techniques with common laboratory animal species. These training workshops are available, at no cost, to all SUNY research personnel working with laboratory animals.
Workshops will be held in the DLAR Training Lab (BST, Level 1, necropsy lab) generally from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sign-ups are on first-come first-served basis and will be limited to 12 participants. Please make sure you have completed the Introduction to DLAR Class prior to signing up for the hands-on workshop.
Sign up can be done outside the Veterinary Technician's office in the HSC DLAR or via email to Sandra Scherrer or Jean Rooney.

- Basic Laboratory Techniques - Mice and Rats
- Basic Laboratory Techniques in Rabbits
- Humane Methods of Euthanasia in Laboratory Animals
